DESCRIPTION:The 18th Ilan Ramon International Space Conference will take place January 31-February 1\, 2023 at the David Intercontinental in Tel Aviv\, Israel as part of Israel Space Week (January 29-February 4). \nThe theme this year is “Earth and Space Becoming One.” \nMore information is on the event’s website.  As of January 29\, only virtual registrations are being accepted. \nThe agenda is posted and includes a number of NASA officials and the crew of the 2022 Axiom-1 private astronaut mission to the International Space Station that included Israel’s Eytan Stibbe\, a friend of Ramon’s. \nNote that times are expressed in local time in Tel Aviv (subtract 7 hours for Eastern Standard Time). \nThe emailed Save the Date notice dated October 24\, 2022 is reproduced below: \n\nSave The Date !\nWe cordially invite you to the 18th Ilan Ramon International Space Conference\, which is scheduled to be held on January 31-February 1\, 2023 in Tel Aviv. \nEarth and Space Becoming One \nAmong the topics that will be discussed at the conference:\n– A panel of heads of space agencies.\n– How space technologies contribute to mitigate climate change.\n– Access to space – new models.\n– Manufacturing in space – challenges and open issues.\n– New applications for space capabilities.\n– Investments in the space industry – a paradise for investors?\n– Cyber security in space\, cloud computing and quantum communication and more. \nThe conference will  include  a Space Companies Exhibition that will allow the participants to meet the leading Israeli Space Companies and a B2B meetings area. \nThe second day of the conference will include ( alongside the professional conference)  an international scientific conference on ‘Black holes – from Theory to Observations’. \nWe look forward to welcoming you in Israel. \nSincerely\, \nThe organizing team
