A few highlights are [note the times are Pacific Daylight Time\, add three for Eastern] — \n\nNASA Town Hall: 12:45 p.m. PDT Monday\, June 13\nPlenary lecture by Thomas Zurbuchen\, associate administrator for NASA’s Science Mission Directorate: 11:40 a.m. PDT Tuesday\, June 14\nJames Webb Space Telescope Town Hall: 6:30 p.m. PDT Tuesday\, June 14\nSOFIA Town Hall: 6:30 p.m. PDT Wednesday\, June 15\nRoman Space Telescope Town Hall: 12:45 p.m. PDT Thursday\, June 16\n\nSome of those may be livestreamed on the  AAS Press Office YouTube channel. \nOriginal Entry: The American Astronomical Society (AAS) will hold its 240th meeting from June 12-16\, 2022 at the Pasadena Convention Center in Pasadena\, CA. \nUsually the major AAS meeting is in January each year\, but because of COVID-19\, the AAS cancelled its January 2022 meeting and rescheduled as many of the sessions as possible to this meeting. \nMore information is on the event’s website\, which says: “The Division and AAS are now requiring that all attendees at the meeting not only be vaccinated\, but they need to have received a booster.”
