ACCRES was established by the Secretary of \nCommerce (Secretary) on May 21\, 2002\, to advise the Secretary of \nCommerce through the Under Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and \nAtmosphere on matters relating to the U.S. commercial remote sensing \nspace industry and on the National Oceanic and Atmospheric \nAdministration's activities to carry out the responsibilities of the \nDepartment of Commerce set forth in the National and Commercial Space \nPrograms Act of 2010 (51 U.S.C. 60101 et seq.).\n\nPurpose of the Meeting and Matters To Be Considered\n\n    The meeting will be open to the public pursuant to Section 10(a)(1) \nof the FACA. During the meeting\, the Committee will receive updates on \nNOAA's Commercial Remote Sensing Regulatory Affairs activities and \ndiscuss updates to the commercial remote sensing regulatory regime.
