SUMMARY:BOEING CST-100 STARLINER ORBITAL FLIGHT TEST (OFT) DOCKING AT ISS\, [cancelled]\, Earth orbit
DESCRIPTION:Update\, December 20:  Starliner will not be able to dock with with ISS.  The launch was successful\, but a glitch with Starliner’s Mission Elapsed Timer caused the uncrewed spacecraft to burn too much propellant achieving orbit after it separated from the Atlas V rocket.  Not enough remains to reach the ISS.  It is in a stable orbit\, if the wrong one\, and the current plan is to keep it there for two days conducting other tests before landing at White Sands Missile Range\, NM (its primary landing site) probably on Sunday morning. \nUpdate:  The docking time has been adjusted to 8:27 am ET. \nOriginal entry: If the launch takes place as planned on December 20\, Boeing’s uncrewed Orbital Flight Test (OFT) of its CST-100 Starliner spacecraft will dock at the International Space Station at 8:19 am ET on December 21\, 2019.  NASA TV will broadcast the event.
