DESCRIPTION:The FAA’s Commercial Space Transportation Advisory Committee (COMSTAC) will meet virtually on November 5\, 2021 from 9:00 am – 4:15 pm ET. \nThe meeting will be streamed on YouTube. Members of the public can ask questions during the event by going to the this link. \nMore information is in the Federal Register notice\, reproduced below\, and on the COMSTAC website.  As of October 25\, the latter provides an outline of the agenda: \nDOT/FAA Welcome Remarks\nVIP Remarks\nFAA Updates\nReview of Tasks Assigned at Previous Meetings/COMSTAC Final Recommendations\nPublic Comment \n  \nSUMMARY: This notice announces a meeting of the Commercial Space \nTransportation Advisory Committee (COMSTAC).\n\nDATES: The November 5\, 2021 meeting will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:15 \np.m.\n    Requests to attend the virtual meeting must be received by November \n3\, 2021.\n    Requests for accommodations to a disability must be received by \nNovember 3\, 2021.\n    Requests to speak during the meeting must be submitted to the \nDepartment of Transportation (DOT) by November 2\, 2021 and include a \nwritten copy of the speaker's remarks. Registrants in the Zoom meeting \nroom will have the opportunity to interact directly with committee \nmembers.\n    Requests to submit written materials to be reviewed during the \nmeeting must be received by DOT no later than November 2\, 2021.\n\nADDRESSES: The meeting will be an internet-only meeting. Public Participation\n\n    The meeting listed in this notice will be open to the public. DOT \nis committed to providing equal access to this meeting for all \nparticipants. If you need alternative formats or services because of a \ndisability\, such as sign language\, interpretation\, or other ancillary \naids\, please contact the person listed in the FOR FURTHER INFORMATION \nCONTACT section.\n    There will be at least thirty minutes allotted for oral comments \nfrom members of the public joining a COMSTAC meeting. To accommodate as \nmany speakers as possible\, the time for each commenter may be limited. \nIndividuals wishing to reserve speaking time during the meeting must \nsubmit a request at the time of registration\, as well as the name\, \naddress\, and organizational affiliation of the proposed speaker. If the \nnumber of registrants requesting to make statements is greater than can \nbe reasonably accommodated during the meeting\, the FAA Office of \nCommercial Space Transportation may conduct a lottery to determine \nwhich registrants will have the opportunity to speak. Speakers are \nrequested to submit a written copy of their prepared remarks for \ninclusion in the meeting records and for circulation to COMSTAC \nmembers. All prepared remarks submitted on time will be accepted and \nconsidered as part of the record. Any member of the public may present \na written statement to the committee at any time.
