DESCRIPTION:The Consortium for Execution of Rendezvous and Servicing Operations (CONFERS) will hold an industry-wide webinar on May 16\, 2023 at 2:00 pm ET to provide an informational briefing one the “State of the Association” as it transitions from DARPA to a stand-alone global trade association. \nMore information is in the emailed annoncement\, whihc is reproduced below: \nThe Consortium for Execution of Rendezvous and Servicing Operations (CONFERS) – the global trade association fostering the satellite servicing industry – will hold an industry-wide informational “State of the Association” webinar on Tuesday\, May 16\, 2023\, at 1100 Pacific/1400 EDT/2000 CEST/0300 JST (Wednesday\, May 17).  This briefing will be an ideal opportunity for the entire industry to hear about CONFERS transition from DARPA to a stand-alone global trade association; learn what CONFERS has accomplished on behalf of the industry; hear from the candidates running for board seats in elections later this month; learn about ways that you can become engaged with CONFERS and contribute to its mission; and\, discover CONFERS plans for advocacy\, conferences\, events and more moving forward.  Attendees will also have the opportunity to see the many member companies currently engaged with CONFERS\, and learn how their companies\, too\, can become an integral part of CONFERS.\n\nA Teams invitation will be sent within the next two days (feel free to share as appropriate).  Please RSVP and join your colleagues to discover all that CONFERS leadership and members have in store to be the voice for the satellite servicing industry.\n\n[Note: we will add the Teams invitation if we get it.
