SUMMARY:CREW-1 ARRIVAL AT ISS\, Nov 16\, 2020\, Earth orbit\, ~11:00 pm ET
DESCRIPTION:Update\, November 13:  The Crew-1 launch has been delayed for one day\, from November 14 to November 15\, due to weather.  Although the launch slipped only one day\, the travel time to ISS will be 27 hours instead of 8.5 hours due to orbital mechanics\, so docking will be about 11:00 pm ET on November 16.  A welcome ceremony will take place about 2.5 hours later followed by a post-docking press conference. \nUpdate\, November 12:  NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine\, Deputy Administrator Jim Morhard\, and JAXA President Hiroshi Yamakawa will participate in the 7:00 am ET welcome ceremony.  Bridenstine was to participate in the 7:20 am ET post-docking news conference\, but is no longer listed. \nUpdate:  The docking time has been refined to 4:20 am ET.  The “welcome ceremony” when they enter the ISS is at approximately 7:00 am ET. A news conference at Johnson Space Center with NASA\, JAXA and SpaceX officials is scheduled for approximately 7:20 am ET. \nOriginal Entry: The four-person crew of the SpaceX Crew-1 mission to the International Space Station (ISS) will dock with the ISS at 4:04 am ET on November 15 assuming launch is on schedule the previous day (November 14\, 4:57 pm ET). \nHatch opening is scheduled for approximately 6:20 am ET. \nNASA TV will provide continuous coverage from 3:30 pm ET November 14 through hatch opening on November 15. \nThe four astronauts are: \n\nMichael Hopkins\, NASA\nVic Glover\, NASA\nSoichi Noguchi\, JAXA\nShannon Walker\, NASA\n\nThis is the first operational flight of the SpaceX Crew Dragon following the successful crew test flight earlier this year (Demo-2).
