CREW-8 ARRIVAL AT ISS, Mar 5, 2024, Earth orbit, ~3:00 am ET (NASA TV begins 1:00 am ET)

Update, March 2: The launch was again postponed due to weather and now is scheduled for March 3 at 10:53 pm ET. If it takes place at that time, it will dock on March 5 at 3:00 am ET, with NASA coverage beginning at 1:00 am ET.

Update February 29:  The launch has been rescheduled due to unfavorable abort weather conditions along the East Coast (high winds and waves). The new schedule is:

  • Launch: Saturday, March 2, 11:16 pm ET (NASA coverage begins 7:15 pm ET)
  • P0st-Launch News Conference: Sunday, March 3, approximately 1:30 am ET (NASA TV)
  • Dock: Sunday, March 3, 2:10 pm ET (NASA coverage begins 11:30 am ET)
    • hatch opening usually occurs about 2 hours later followed by welcome remarks

Orignal Entry: If Crew-8 launches on March 1 at 12:04 am ET as planned, they will arrive at the International Space Station on March 2 at approximately 7:00 am ET.

NASA TV coverage will begin at 5:00 am ET. Hatch opening will occur at approximately 8:45 am ET followed by welcome remarks.

In its press release, NASA says: “All times are estimates and could be adjusted based on operations after launch. Follow the space station blog for the most up-to-date operations information.”
