DESCRIPTION:Update\, September 25:  The launch is still scheduled for September 28 at 1:17 pm ET and the post-launch news conference for 3:00 pm ET that day. Participants are: \n\nNASA Deputy Administrator Pam Melroy\nKen Bowersox\, associate administrator\, NASA’s Space Operations Mission Directorate\nDana Hutcherson\, deputy program manager\, NASA’s Commercial Crew Program\nDina Contella\, deputy manager\, NASA’s International Space Station Program\nSarah Walker\, director\, Dragon Mission Management\, SpaceX\n\nUpdate\, September 24:  The launch has been postponed to no earlier than (NET) 1:17 pm ET on Saturday\, September 28\, due to tropical storm Helene\, which is expected to become a hurricane.  The time for the post-launch briefing hasn’t been announcement\, but usually is about 1.5 hours later. \nOriginial Entry: NASA will hold a briefing on September 26\, 2024 at 3:30 pm ET following the scheduled launch of Crew-9 to the ISS at 2:05 pm ET that day. \nParticipants had not been announced as of September 19. \nThis event will air on NASA+ as will the crew’s arrival at KSC on September 21\, a pre-launch briefing on September 25\, and launch.  See our separate Calendar entries for details.
