DESCRIPTION:Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský will sign the Artemis Accords on behalf of the Czech Republic at a signing ceremony at NASA HQ on May 3\, 2023 at 10:00 am ET. \nNASA Administrator Bill Nelson\, Acting Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of Oceans and International and Scientific Affairs Jennifer R. “J.R.” Littlejohn\, and Czech Ambassador to the United States Miloslav Stašek will take part in the ceremony. \nThe event will air on NASA TV\, the NASA app\, and NASA Live. \nIt will become the 24th country to sign the U.S.-led Artemis Accords\, which establish a set of principles for countries to work together effectively on the lunar surface. It is open to all countries to sign regardless of whether they have current plans for lunar operations.  Nigeria and Rwanda are the most recent signatories.
