DESCRIPTION:The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) will hold a two-part webinar as part of its ASCEND series on July 15 and July 21 on Diversity\, Equity\, and Inclusion in the Aerospace Communication and Workforce. \nPart II on July 21 from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm ET will be “a dynamic session focused on discussing the experiences of women in the aerospace community. Leaders from professional engineering societies will address the opportunities and challenges faced by their members and highlight ongoing work toward diversity\, equity\, and inclusion. This session will feature opening remarks from the Women of Aeronautics and Astronautics and has been developed in collaboration with the American Indian Science and Engineering Society\, the National Society of Black Engineers\, the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers\, and the Society of Women Engineers.” \nMore information and a registration link are on the event’s website.
