DESCRIPTION:ESA will hold a briefing on October 2\, 2023 at 12:30 pm Central European Summer Time (which is 6:30 am Eastern Daylight Time) to discuss the results of the independent inquiry into the test failure of the Vega-C Zefiro 40 motor on June 28\, 2023. \nThe briefing will air on ESA TV. \nParticipants are: \n\nJosef Aschbacher\, ESA Director General\nGiovanni Colangelo\, ESA Inspector General and Chair of the Independent Enquiry Commission\nGiulio Ranzo\, CEO\, Avio (which makes the Zefiro 40 motor)\nStephané Israël\, CEO\, Arianespace\nToni Tolker-Nielsen\, ESA Director of Space Transportation\n\nAs part of the briefing\, they will provide an update on when Vega-C launches will resume in 2024. \nVega-C is replacing the Vega rocket. Vega’s final launch also is this week\, on October 6.
