The event will take place at the Mitchell Institute’s HQ in Arlington\, VA and online via Zoom. \nMore information is on the event’s website\, which says: \nWe’re hosting a fireside chat with Col. Christopher Putman\, commander of the newly stood-up U.S. Space Forces Central (SPACECENT) on Monday\, March 27 at 2 p.m. EDT at our headquarters in Arlington\, Va. The option to join us virtually via Zoom will also be available. \nSPACECENT is the newest service component under U.S. Central Command and is responsible for space operations in CENTCOM’s area of responsibility\, which stretches from the Middle East to Southeast Asia and includes potential adversaries such as Iran. Col. Putman is its first commander.
