DESCRIPTION:The Atlantic Council will hold an event on April 5\, 2024 at 8:30 am ET on the “Growing Role of the Private Sector in International Space Collaboration.” \nThe speaker is Aarti Holla-Maini\, Director of the United Nations Office of Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA)\, which administers the U.N. Committee on Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (UNCOPUOS). Holla-Maini will be interviewed by Jacqueline Feldscher\, Managing Editor of Payload Space. \nThe meeting is in-person at the Atlantic Council Studios\, 1030 15th St.\, NW\, 12th Floor\, Washington\, DC\, and will be webcast online. Registration is required for both in-person and virtual attendance. \nMore information is on the event’s website.  (Note that the Council’s placard below says this is at “1:30 pm CET” which is Central European Time\, but Europe changes to Central European Summer Time\, CEST\, on March 31\, so it actually will be 2:30 pm CEST.)
