SUMMARY:IISL MANFRED LACHS SPACE LAW MOOT COURT FINALS\, Oct 24\, 2019\, DC\, 3:30 pm ET
DESCRIPTION:The International Institute of Space Law (IISL) will hold the finals of its Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition at NASA Headquarters in Washington\, DC on October 24\, 2019 beginning at 3:30 pm ET. \nThe event is held in conjunction with the International Astronautical Congress (IAC)\, but registration for the IAC is not required to attend.  However\, seating in the NASA auditorium is limited. \nThe judges are from the International Court of Justice in The Hague. \nThe IISL holds preliminary rounds in five global regions:  North America\, Latin America\, Europe\, Asia-Pacific\, and Africa. More than 60 teams participate world-wide. \nThe winners of the initial rounds advance to the semi-finals and those winners to the finals.  The teams that will participate in Thursday’s final will not be known until after the semi-finals earlier that week. \nThe 2019 Moot Court problem is explained on the IISL website.
