DESCRIPTION:Update\, June 5:  Here’s the link to the English-language livestream on YouTube.  Starts at 2:10 pm ET Thursday. \nUpdate\, June 4:  The landing time has moved forward by 7 minutes\, so is now at 3:17 pm ET Thursday (4:17 am JST Friday). \nOriginal Entry: The Japanese company ispace will land their RESILIENCE lander with its TENACIOUS micro-rover on the Moon on June 6\, 2025 at 4:24 am Japan Standard Time (June 5\, 3:24 pm Eastern Daylight Time). \nThe spacecraft carrying the lander/rover\, SBMC x HAKUTO-R Venture Moon\, was launched on January 15\, 2025 and entered lunar orbit on May 7 JST (May 6  EDT). \nispace will hold an in-person event for the landing at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) East Building\, Rising Square 3F\, SMBC Hall\, 1-3-2 Marunouchi\, Chiyoda-ku\, Tokyo\, for media and invited guests. \nThe event will be livestreamed for the global audience beginning at 3:15 am JST (June 5\, 2:15 pm EDT).  ispace says “While there will be no live images of the landing\, a simulation featuring real-time telemetry from the HAKUTO-R Mission Control Center will be broadcast. Images are expected to be released after the landing is confirmed.” \nA post-landing press conference will take place as well.
