KEEPING CHINA GROUNDED: ENSURING LONG-TERM US TECH LDRSHP IN LEO (CSIS), Dec 2, 2025, DC/virtual, 2:00-5:00 pm ET

The topic is “Keeping China Grounded: Ensuring Long-Term U.S. Tech Leadership in Low Earth Orbit.”

Please join the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Strategic Technologies Program for an in-person event on Spectrum and Wireless Leadership, hosted by the CSIS Strategic Technologies Program. The event will take place on Tuesday, December 2, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM ET.

Panels will explore how the United States can sustain leadership in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) amid intensifying global competition. The event will convene experts from government, industry, and academia to discuss U.S. priorities for LEO governance, national security, and technological innovation.

The event will feature four panels:

  • Panel I (2:05–2:35 PM): Wireless Leadership in Low Earth Orbit
  • Panel II (2:40 – 3:10 PM): U.S. National Security, DOD, and LEO Leadership
  • Panel III (3:30 – 4:00PM): International Issues
  • Panel IV (4:05–4:35 PM): Technological Innovations in Space

This event will be held at CSIS headquarters and livestreamed. Seating is limited. Please RSVP via the registration link provided.
