DESCRIPTION:Update\, May 4:  The meeting will take place at the Keck Center\, 500 5th St. NW\, Washington\, DC and open sessions will be livestreamed.  The agenda is posted.  Open sessions are on May 7 and 8. \nOriginal Entry: The National Academies of Sciences\, Engineering\, and Medicine are beginning a new NASA-sponsored study on “Key Non-Polar Destinations Across the Moon to Address Decadal-level Science Objectives with Human Explorers.” \nThe first open meeting of the committee is scheduled for May 7-9\, 2025. As of April 19\, details on location\, schedule\, etc. were not posted. \nMore information about the study\, including membership\, is on the committee’s website. \nThe committee is chaired by Prof. of Geosciences James Day\, University of California\, San Diego.  The co-chair is Prof. of Engineering Practice Dan Dumbacher\, Purdue (former Executive Director of AIAA\, former NASA).
