SUMMARY:DOCKING OF RUSSIA'S PROGRESS MS-07 TO ISS\, Oct 16\, 2017\, 7:09 am ET (NASA TV)
DESCRIPTION:UPDATE\, October 14:  Launch was successful this morning.  Docking is scheduled for October 16 at 7:09 am ET.  NASA TV coverage begins at 6:15 am ET. \nUPDATE\, October 13:  NASA and Roscosmos have confirmed that the new launch date is October 14 at 4:46 am EDT (2:46 pm local time at the launch site).  NASA TV coverage begins 4:15 am EDT.  If successful\, docking is scheduled for Monday\, October 16\, at 7:09 am EDT (NASA TV coverage begins 6:15 am EDT). \nUPDATE\, October 12:  The launch was aborted in the final seconds of the countdown when the engines did not start.  The next launch opportunity is October 14 at 4:46 am ET.  Because the ISS will not be in the same position relative to the launch site at that time\, the 2-orbit rendezvous cannot be attempted.  The original 34-orbit rendezvous will be used instead. If launch is successful on October 14\, Progress MS-07 will dock with ISS on Monday\, October 16. \nOriginal Entry:  Russia will launch its next robotic Progress resupply spacecraft\, Progress MS-07\, to the International Space Station (ISS) at 5:32 am ET on October 12\, 2017.  NASA TV coverage of the launch from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan begins at 5:15 am ET. \nRussia is using a new\, shorter\, trajectory for the spacecraft to get to ISS\, arriving after just 2 orbits.  Docking is scheduled for 8:56 am ET (NASA TV coverage begins 8:15 am ET). \nNASA refers to this as Progress 68 because it is the 68th Progress mission to ISS.
