Update, October 1, 9:55 pm ET: The launch was scrubbed 2 minutes 40 seconds before liftoff. The reason has not been determined. A new launch date/time has not been announced. If it can be resolved by tomorrow, the launch time would be 9:16:12 pm Eastern Time.
Update, September 27, 10:00 pm ET: Northrop Grumman has announced that the launch has been delayed due to weather. The new schedule is October 1 at 9:38 pm ET. NASA TV coverage beings 9:00 pm ET.
Original Entry: Northrop Grumman (NG) will launch its next Cygnus cargo spacecraft, NG-14, to the International Space Station from Wallops Island, VA on September 29, 2020 at 10:27 pm ET (NASA refined the time by one minute, it was 10:26 pm ET).
NASA TV coverage begins 10:00 pm ET.
Northrop Grumman names its Cygnus spacecraft after renowned members of the space community who have passed away. This one is designated Kalpana Chawla. She was one of the NASA astronauts who perished in the 2003 space shuttle Columbia tragedy.
