DESCRIPTION:The John W Kluge Center of the Library of Congress will hold a day-long seminar on September 28\, 2017 on “Life as it Could Be:  Astrobiology\, Synthetic Biology\, and the Future of Life.” Luis Campos\, the 2016-2017 Baruch S. Blumberg NASA/Library of Congress Chair in Astrobiology\, will host the event\, which will take place from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm ET in Room 119 of the Library of Congress Thomas Jefferson building on Capitol Hill\, Washington\, DC. \nThe event is free and open to the public.  It will be filmed and a video placed on the Kluge Center website and YouTube playlist. \nParticipants are: \n\nLuis Campos – Associate Professor\, Department of History\, University of New Mexico and current Baruch S.
