DESCRIPTION:The Space Studies Board of the National Academies of Sciences\, Engineering and Medicine will hold a one-day colloquium on the current status of life and physical science research at NASA on April 19\, 2017 from 8:30 am – 5:30 pm ET.  It will be held at the National Academy of Sciences building\, 2101 Constitution Ave.\, NW\, Washington\, DC in conjunction with a meeting of an Academies committee that is performing a mid-term review of the 2011 Decadal Survey on life and physical sciences in space. \nThe colloquium will be webcast. \nThe agenda is posted on the committee’s website (see the entries for Wedensday\, April 19).  \nThe Academies requests that anyone planning to attend in person or watch the webcast pre-register on the event’s website.
