DESCRIPTION:Update\, August 8: The agenda is finally posted. \nOriginal Entry: The NASA Advisory Council (NAC) will meet virtually from August 9-10\, 2022.  NASA issued a press release announcing the meeting and the new members of NAC appointed by NASA Administrator Bill Nelson\, a former member of NAC himself.  NAC reports to the NASA Administrator. \nThe Federal Register notice\, reproduced below\, provides additional information. \nThe public portions of the meeting  are 1:00-5:30 pm ET each day and the public may participate only virtually. The notice suggests but does not state that the NAC members themselves will be meeting in person. \nSUMMARY: In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act\, the \nNational Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announces a \nmeeting of the NASA Advisory Council (NAC).\n\nDATES: Tuesday\, August 9\, 2022\, 1 p.m.-5:30 p.m. Eastern Time; and \nWednesday\, August 10\, 2022\, 1 p.m.-5:30 p.m. Eastern Time.\n\nADDRESSES: The meeting will be virtual for members of the public.
