DESCRIPTION:NASA’s Aerospace Safety Advisory Panel (ASAP) will hold an open meeting on December 6\, 2021 from 9:30-10:00 am ET. \nThe meeting is available telephonically.  More information is in the Federal Register notice\, which is reproduced below. \n  \nSUMMARY: In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act\, the \nNational Aeronautics and Space Administration announces a forthcoming \nmeeting of the Aerospace Safety Advisory Panel (ASAP).\n\nDATES: Monday\, December 6\, 2021\, 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time.\n\nADDRESSES: This will be a virtual meeting via teleconference.\n\nFOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT: Ms. Lisa M. Hackley\, ASAP \nAdministrative Officer\, NASA Headquarters\, Washington\, DC 20546\, (202) \n358-1947 or lisa.m.hackley@nasa.gov.\n\nSUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Aerospace Safety Advisory Panel (ASAP) \nwill hold a public meeting to deliberate new formal recommendations for \nNASA. This discussion is pursuant to carrying out its statutory duties \nfor which the Panel reviews\, identifies\, evaluates\, and advises on \nthose program activities\, systems\, procedures\, and management \nactivities that can contribute to program risk. This meeting is a \nvirtual meeting\, and only available telephonically. Any interested \nperson may call the USA toll free conference call number 888-566-6133; \npasscode 8343253 and then the # sign. At the beginning of the meeting\, \nmembers of the public may make a verbal presentation to the Panel on \nthe subject of safety in NASA\, not to exceed 5 minutes in length. To do \nso\, members of the public must contact Ms. Lisa M. Hackley at \nlisa.m.hackley@nasa.gov or at (202) 358-1947 at least 48 hours in \nadvance. Any member of the public is permitted to file a written \nstatement with the Panel via electronic submission to Ms. Hackley at \nthe email address previously noted. Verbal presentations and written \nstatements should be limited to the subject of safety in NASA. It is \nimperative that the meeting be held on this date to accommodate the \nscheduling priorities of the key participants.
