DESCRIPTION:NASA’s Aerospace Safety Advisory Panel (ASAP) will meet in public session on May 6\, 2021 from 2:00-3:30 pm ET. \nMore information is in the Federal Register notice\, which is reproduced below. \nSUMMARY: In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act\, the \nNational Aeronautics and Space Administration announces a forthcoming \nmeeting of the Aerospace Safety Advisory Panel (ASAP).\n\nDATES: Thursday\, May 6\, 2021\, 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.\, Eastern Time.\n\nADDRESSES: This will be a virtual meeting via teleconference.\n\nFOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT: Ms. Lisa M. Hackley\, ASAP \nAdministrative Officer\, NASA Headquarters\, Washington\, DC 20546\, (202) \n358-1947 or lisa.m.hackley@nasa.gov.\n\nSUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Aerospace Safety Advisory Panel (ASAP) \nwill hold its Second Quarterly Meeting for 2021. This discussion is \npursuant to carrying out its statutory duties for which the Panel \nreviews\, identifies\, evaluates\, and advises on those program \nactivities\, systems\, procedures\, and management activities that can \ncontribute to program risk. Priority is given to those programs that \ninvolve the safety of human flight. The agenda will include:\n\n-- Updates on the International Space Station Program\n-- Updates on the Commercial Crew Program\n-- Updates on Exploration System Development Program\n-- Updates on Human Lunar Exploration Program\n\n    This meeting is a virtual meeting\, and only available \ntelephonically. Any interested person may call the USA toll free \nconference call number 888-566-6133; passcode 8343253 and then the # \nsign. At the beginning of the meeting\, members of the public may make a \nverbal presentation to the Panel on the subject of safety in NASA\, not \nto exceed 5 minutes in length. To do so\, members of the public must \ncontact Ms. Lisa M. Hackley at lisa.m.hackley@nasa.gov or at (202) 358-\n1947 at least 48 hours in advance. Any member of the public is \npermitted to file a written statement with the Panel via electronic \nsubmission to Ms. Hackley at the email address previously noted. Verbal \npresentations and written statements should be limited to the subject \nof safety in NASA. It is imperative that the meeting be held on this \ndate to accommodate the scheduling priorities of the key participants.\n\n
