DESCRIPTION:NASA’s Aerospace Safety Advisory Panel (ASAP) will hold a public telecon to report on its 4th quarter 2024 meeting on October 31\, 2024 from 1:00-2:30 pm ET. \nMore information including dial-in information is in the Federal Register notice\, which is reproduced below: \nSUMMARY: In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act\, as \namended\, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration announces a \nforthcoming meeting of the Aerospace Safety Advisory Panel (ASAP). The \nASAP will hold its Fourth Quarterly Meeting for 2024. This discussion \nis pursuant to carrying out its statutory duties for which the Panel \nreviews\, identifies\, evaluates\, and advises on those program \nactivities\, systems\, procedures\, and management activities that can \ncontribute to program risk. Priority is given to those programs that \ninvolve the safety of human flight.\n\nDATES: Thursday\, October 31\, 2024\, 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.\, eastern time.\n\nADDRESSES: Public attendance will be virtual only. See dial-in \ninformation below under SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION.\n\nFOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT: Ms. Lisa M. At the beginning of the meeting\, members of the \npublic may make a verbal presentation to the Panel limited to the \nsubject of safety in NASA\, not to exceed 5 minutes in length. Any member of the public is permitted to file a written \nstatement with the Panel via electronic submission to Ms. Hackley at \nthe email address previously noted.
