DESCRIPTION:NASA’s Aerospace Safety Advisory Panel (ASAP) will hold its first quarterly meeting of 2023 at Kennedy Space Center\, FL.  The only portion of the meeting open to the public is a telecon on February 9\, 2023 from 3:00-4:30 pm ET where ASAP members will summarize their observations. \nInstructions on how to listen are in the Federal Register notice\, which is reproduced below. \n  \nSUMMARY: In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act\, the \nNational Aeronautics and Space Administration announces a forthcoming \nmeeting of the Aerospace Safety Advisory Panel (ASAP).\n\nDATES: Thursday\, February 9\, 2023\, 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.\, Eastern Time.\n\nADDRESSES: NASA Kennedy Space Center\, Headquarters Building\, Room 3201\, \nKennedy Space Center\, FL 32899.\n\nFOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT:  Ms. Lisa M. Hackley\, ASAP \nAdministrative Officer\, NASA Headquarters\, Washington\, DC 20546\, (202) \n358-1947 or lisa.m.hackley@nasa.gov.\n\nSUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Aerospace Safety Advisory Panel (ASAP) \nwill hold its First Quarterly Meeting for 2023. This discussion is \npursuant to carrying out its statutory duties for which the Panel \nreviews\, identifies\, evaluates\, and advises on those program \nactivities\, systems\, procedures\, and management activities that can \ncontribute to program risk. Priority is given to those programs that \ninvolve the safety of human flight. The agenda will include:\n\n--Updates on the International Space Station Program\n--Updates on the Commercial Crew Program\n--Updates on Exploration System Development Program\n--Updates on Advanced Exploration Systems Program\n--Updates on Human Lunar Exploration Program\n\n    This meeting is only available telephonically. Any interested \nperson may call the USA toll free conference call number 888-566-6133; \npasscode 8343253 and then the # sign. At the beginning of the meeting\, \nmembers of the public may make a verbal presentation to the Panel on \nthe subject\n\n[[Page 4214]]\n\nof safety in NASA\, not to exceed 5 minutes in length. To do so\, members \nof the public must contact Ms. Lisa M. Hackley at \nlisa.m.hackley@nasa.gov or at (202) 358-1947 at least 48 hours in \nadvance. Any member of the public is permitted to file a written \nstatement with the Panel via electronic submission to Ms. Hackley at \nthe email address previously noted. Verbal presentations and written \nstatements should be limited to the subject of safety in NASA. It is \nimperative that the meeting be held on this date to accommodate the \nscheduling priorities of the key participants.
