DESCRIPTION:NASA will hold a briefing at Johnson Space Center\, TX on April 26\, 2018 at 10:00 am ET (9:00 am local time) to showcase the progress it is making on building the Orion spacecraft\, which is designed for human deep space exploration to the Moon and beyond.  Steps being taken to test and develop technologies for the Lunar Orbital Platform-Gateway will also be discussed. \nThe briefing will air live on NASA TV and NASA Live. \nParticipants are: \n\nEllen Ochoa\, Johnson Space Center (JSC) director\nVanessa Wyche\, director of JSC’s Exploration Integration and Science directorate\nAnnette Hasbrook\, assistant manager for Orion Program integration\nJenny Devolites\, Ascent Abort-2 crew module deputy manager\nNicole Mann\, NASA astronaut\n\nMedia at the event will be able to tour facilities and view projects associated with JSC’s deep space human exploration program after the briefing.
