DESCRIPTION:Update\, April 29:  The time for the briefing has been revised to 11:30 am ET.  Note that Ingenuity did not take off as planned today. Engineers are trying to determine why. \nOriginal Entry: NASA will hold a briefing to discuss next steps for the Ingenuity Mars helicopter on April 30\, 2021 at 12:30 pm ET.  The helicopter has successfully executed three flights already and a fourth is planned for April 29.  NASA plans to have five flights\, with each further testing the helicopter’s capabilities. \nThe briefing will be livestreamed on the NASA JPL YouTube channel\, the NASA app and the agency’s website. \nParticipants are: \n\nLori Glaze\, director of NASA’s Planetary Science Division at NASA Headquarters\nMiMi Aung\, Ingenuity project manager at JPL\nBob Balaram\, Ingenuity chief engineer at JPL\nKen Farley\, Perseverance project scientist at Caltech\nJennifer Trosper\, Perseverance rover deputy project manager at JPL\n\nMembers of the public may ask questions on social media during the briefing using #MarsHelicopter.
