DESCRIPTION:NASA and Boeing will hold a media telecon on June 28\, 2024 at 2:00 pm ET to provide an update on the status of Boeing’s Starliner Crew Flight Test and recent ISS operations. \nStarliner CFT docked to the ISS on June 6. Its return has been delayed several times while NASA and Boeing gather as much information as possible about malfunctions in the Service Module affecting Reaction Control Thrusters and causing helium leaks. The Service Module does not return to Earth so whatever they can learn must be done while it’s in space (it detaches from the Crew Module and burns up in the atmosphere). \nSeparately\, another NASA spacewalk was scrubbed on June 24 — the second in a row. \nParticipants in the telecon are: \n\nKen Bowersox\, associate administrator\, NASA’s Space Operations Mission Directorate\nSteve Stich\, manager\, NASA’s Commercial Crew Program\nBill Spetch\, operations integration manager\, NASA’s International Space Station Program\nEmily Nelson\, chief flight director\, NASA’s Johnson Space Center\nMark Nappi\, vice president and program manager\, Commercial Crew Program\, Boeing\n\nListen on NASA Live.
