DESCRIPTION:The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) will arrive at its final destination\, the Sun-Earth Lagrange Point-2 (SEL-2) after a million mile journey on January 24\, 2022.  It was launched on December 25\, 2021. \nNASA will fire the spacecraft’s thrusters to enter orbit around SEL-2 at 2:00 pm ET. \nAt 3:00 pm ET\, NASA will host a “Science Live” segment to discuss “What’s Next for the James Webb Space Telescope” and at 4:00 pm ET a media telecon. \nThe Science Live broadcast will air live online on the NASA Science Live website\, as well as YouTube\, Facebook\, and Twitter. Audio of the teleconference will stream live on the agency’s website. \nInstructions for how the public can submit questions for the 3:00 pm ET Science Live episode are in the NASA press release.
