SUMMARY:NASA DAY OF REMEMBRANCE\, Jan 30\, 2020\, various times and locations
DESCRIPTION:NASA will hold its 2020 Day of Remembrance on January 30\, 2020 to honor members of the NASA family who lost their lives while furthering the cause of exploration including the crews of Apollo 1\, space shuttle Challenger\, and space shuttle Columbia. \nAt 1:00 pm ET\, NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine and other senior agency officials will lead an observance at Arlington National Cemetery. \nVarious NASA centers will hold their own observances as follows: \n\nKennedy Space Center in partnership with the Astronauts Memorial Foundation and KSC Visitor Complex will hold a wreath laying ceremony at 10:00 am ET at the Astronauts Memorial Foundation Space Mirror Memorial at the Visitor Complex.  It open to the public.\nJohnson Space Center will hold a commemoration for employees at the Astronaut Memorial Grove.\nStennis Space Center will host a ceremony memorializing the Apollo 1\, Challenger and Columbia missions\, as well as members of the Stennis Space Center family lost in the past year.\nMarshall Space Flight Center will hold a candle-lighting ceremony for employees at 9:00 am Central Time.
