DESCRIPTION:UPDATE:  A notice on the committee’s website states that this meeting has been cancelled (probably due to the temporary government shutdown that occurred January 20-22). \n  \nOriginal Entry: The NASA Earth Science Advisory Committee will meet January 24-25\, 2018 at NASA HQ in Washington\, DC.  The meeting on January 24 is 8:30 am – 5:00 pm ET and on January 25 is 8:30 am – 3:00 pm ET. \nDetails on the meeting and how to listen to it remotely by WebEx and telecon are in the Federal Register notice\, which is reproduced below; \nSUMMARY:  In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act\, as \namended\, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) \nannounces a meeting of the Earth Science Advisory Committee. This \nCommittee reports to the Director\, Earth Science Division\, Science \nMission Directorate\, NASA Headquarters.
