DESCRIPTION:NASA’s International Space Station Advisory Committee will meet in public session on November 13\, 2024 from 10:00-11:30 am ET.  Public participation is virtual only. \nThis is the first meeting in quite some time.  Lt. Gen. Tom Stafford\, a renowned retired NASA astronaut\, chaired this U.S.-Russian committee for NASA for many\, many years\, but passed away earlier this year.  Another renowned former NASA astronaut\, Bob Cabana\, is a new NASA chair. Cabana most recently was NASA Associate Administrator (retired at the end of 2023) and Director of Kennedy Space Center and Stennis Space Center before that. \nMore information is in the Federal Register notice\, which is reproduced below: \nSUMMARY: In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act\, the \nNational Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announces a \nmeeting of the NASA International Space Station Advisory Committee.
