SUMMARY:NASA NEWS CONF FOLLOWING ARTEMIS II FLIGHT READINESS REVIEW\, Mar 12\, 2026\, KSC\, 3:00 pm ET
DESCRIPTION:NASA will hold a news conference at Kennedy Space Center on March 12\, 2026 at 3:00 pm ET following a Flight Readiness Review (FRR) for the Artemis II mission that will send four astronauts around the Moon for the first time since the Apollo era. \nThe event will air on NASA’s YouTube channel. \nParticipants are: \n\nAdministrator Jared Isaacman\nLori Glaze\, acting associate administrator\, Exploration Systems Development Mission Directorate\nJohn Honeycutt\, chair\, Artemis II Mission Management Team\nShawn Quinn\, manager\, Exploration Ground Systems Program\nNorm Knight\, director\, Flight Operations Directorate\n\nMore information is in NASA’s press release. \nNASA was hoping to launch Artemis II in March\, but a problem with helium flow in the SLS rocket’s upper stage following a Wet Dress Rehearsal meant they had to roll the SLS/Orion stack back to the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) for repairs.  It is still in the VAB. A date for rolling it back to the launch pad\, and whether another WDR is planned\, was not announced.
