SUMMARY:NASA PRESS CONF WITH CREW OF SOYUZ MS-12\, Dec 12\, 2018\, JSC\, 3:00 pm ET (webcast)
DESCRIPTION:NASA will hold a press conference at Johnson Space Center (JSC) on December 12\, 2018 at 3:00 pm ET [corrected time] with the crew of the Soyuz MS-12 mission\, which is scheduled for launch on February 28\, 2019.  It will air live on NASA TV and the agency’s website. \nThe crew members are: \n\nAleksey Ovchinin\, Roscosmos\nNick Hague\, NASA\nChristina Hammock Koch\, NASA\n\nOvchinin and Hague were the two-man crew of Soyuz MS-10 whose launch vehicle failed about two minutes after launch on October 11\, 2018.  Their crew capsule was instantly separated from the rocket by automated systems and they landed safely.  Although they did not reach orbit\, NASA says the capsule flew high enough that it counts as a spaceflight.  So NASA considers this to be Hague’s second spaceflight and Ovchinin’s third.  It will be Koch’s first.
