DESCRIPTION:NASA’s Science Mission Directorate (SMD) will hold its first quarterly Town Hall meeting of 2024 virtually on January 31\, 2024 from 1:00-2:00 pm ET. \nInformation on how participate is on SMD’s website and is reproduced below (as of January 6). \n\n\n\n\nJanuary 31\, 2024\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nScience Mission Directorate Quarterly Community Town Hall\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTime: 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm ET\nLocation via WebEx:\nhttps://nasaenterprise.webex.com/nasaenterprise/j.php?MTID=m9d2e70c81ad38d00eda138b6aaf57c67 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNASA’s Science Mission Directorate will hold a quarterly community town hall meeting with Associate Administrator for Science Nicky Fox and her leadership team at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday\, January 31\, 2024. Participants are invited to submit their questions below and/or vote up questions already posted. The meeting leaders will try to answer as many of the submitted questions as possible. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNASA Science holds community town halls to transparently share updates and address questions and concerns. Strategy 4.1 of “Science 2020-2024: A Vision for Scientific Excellence” states that NASA should “Increase the diversity of thought and backgrounds represented across the entire SMD portfolio through a more inclusive environment.” Inclusion is also a core value of NASA. Therefore\, submitted questions should be consistent with efforts to foster an inclusive\, open\, and respectful environment.
