DESCRIPTION:NASA’s Space Weather Council\, a subcommittee of the Heliophysics Advisory Committee\, will meet in-person and virtually from August 8-9\, 2024. The meeting is 9:00 am-5:00 pm ET both days. \nPublic participation is virtual only. The location of the in-person meeting is omitted from the Federal Register notice\, which is reproduced below. \n  \nSUMMARY: In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act\, as \namended\, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) \nannounces a meeting of the Space Weather Council (SWC). The SWC is a \nsubcommittee of the Heliophysics Advisory Committee\, which functions in \nan advisory capacity to the Director\, Heliophysics Division\, in the \nNASA Science Mission Directorate. The meeting will be held for the \npurpose of soliciting\, from the science community and other persons\, \nscientific and technical information relevant to program planning.\n\nDATES: Thursday\, August 8\, 2024\, and Friday\, August 9\, 2024\, 9 a.m. to \n5 p.m.\, eastern time.\n\nADDRESSES: The committee will meet in person and virtually. Public \nparticipation is virtual only.
