DESCRIPTION:As part of its celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission\, the National Air and Space Museum will project a full size image of the Saturn V rocket onto the Washington Monument on July 16\, 17 and 18\, 2019 from 9:30-11:30 pm ET. \nOn the two following evenings\, July 19 and 20\, additional video images will be shown on large projection screens nearby during a 17-minute “Apollo 50: Go For the Moon” show that will reenact the launch at 9:30\, 10:30 and 11:30 pm ET. \nDetails are on the NASM Apollo 11 anniversary website. https://airandspace.si.edu/go-for-the-moon
