D.C. on a tribute to the 1969 Moon landing\, which was initiated by President John F. Kennedy\, on July 20\, 2019\, the 50th anniversary of day Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first humans to set foot on another world. \nNASA describes the event as follows: \nJuly 20: National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) Pops presents Apollo 11: A Fiftieth Anniversary \nNASA is collaborating with the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington and the National Symphony on a musical and visual tribute to the 1969 Moon landing.
