DESCRIPTION:The National Academies Committee to Review Progress Toward Implementing the Decadal Survey Vision and Voyages for Planetary Sciences (the “mid-term” review of the planetary sciences Decadal Survey)\, will meet at the Keck Center\, 500 5th St. NW\, Washington\, DC from February 26-28\, 2018. \nMost of the meeting is closed\, but a few open sessions are on Monday morning and Tuesday afternoon.  A draft agenda posted on the committee’s website earlier showed that NASA’s Mars Exploration Program Director Jim Watzin would brief the committee on Tuesday morning.  However\, the current agenda does not list him at all.  Instead\, NASA’s planetary science division director Jim Green is listed twice  (Monday at 9:00 am ET and Tuesday at 4:15 pm ET).  Green’s talk on Monday will be followed by an open discussion period through lunchtime.  Those are all open.
