DESCRIPTION:The Committee on Biological and Physical Sciences in Space of the Space Studies Board of the National Academies of Sciences\, Engineering\, and Medicine will meet virtually March 31-April 1\, 2020. \nOriginally this meeting was to be part of the SSB’s “Space Science Week” and in-person\, but was transformed into a virtual meeting because of the coronavirus pandemic. \nThe draft agenda as of March 24\, including information on how to participate via Zoom\, is posted here.  Check the committee’s website for updates.  Some sessions are open\, others are closed. \nThe committee characterizes March 31 as a one-day symposium on “Preparing for the Future of Space Exploration: Life and Physical Sciences in Space\,” and the last hour-and-a-half (4:30-6:00 pm ET) is “ISS 20th Anniversary: What We’ve Learned and Where We are Going.”
