DESCRIPTION:The Physical Sciences panel of the Decadal Survey on Biological and Physical Sciences in Space of the National Academies of Sciences\, Engineering\, and Medicine will hold a telecon on February 18\, 2022 from 4:00-5:00 pm ET. \nThe topic is “Reflections on Recapturing a Future for Space Exploration: Life and Physical Sciences Research for a New Era\,” which was the previous Decadal Survey for this science discipline\, published in 2011. \nThe panel will hear from the people who chaired the physical sciences panels in that prior study. \nMore information and a link to the agenda are on the committee’s website.  The telecon link will be posted there in due course.
