DESCRIPTION:NOAA’s Advisory Committee on Commercial Remote Sensing (ACCRES) will meet virtually on August 24\, 2022 from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm ET. \nMore information is in the Federal Register notice\, which is reproduced below: \n  \nSUMMARY: The Advisory Committee on Commercial Remote Sensing \n(``ACCRES'') will meet for 1 full-day meeting on August 24\, 2022.\n\nDATES: The meeting is scheduled as follows August 24\, 2022\, from 9:00 \na.m.-3:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).\n\nADDRESSES: The meeting will be a virtual event all participants will \nattend virtually via GoToWebinar.\n\nFOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT: Alan Robinson\, NOAA/NESDIS/CRSRA\, 1335 \nEast-West Highway\, G-101\, Silver Spring\, Maryland 20910; 301-704-5882 \nor CRSRA@noaa.gov.\n\nSUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: As required by Section 10(a)(2) of the \nFederal Advisory Committee Act\, 5 U.S.C. ACCRES was established by the Secretary of \nCommerce (Secretary) on May 21\, 2002\, to advise the Secretary through \nthe Under Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere on matters \nrelating to the U.S. commercial remote sensing space industry and on \nthe National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's activities to \ncarry out the responsibilities of the Department of Commerce set forth \nin the National and Commercial Space Programs Act of 2010 (51 U.S.C. \n60101 et seq.).\n\nPurpose of the Meeting and Matters To Be Considered\n\n    The meeting will be open to the public pursuant to Section 10(a)(1) \nof the FACA. During the meeting\, the Committee will hear Commercial \nSatellite Imaging regulations from International Regulators\, and from \nUS government leadership on their vision for the development of the \nRemote Sensing industry.\n\nAdditional Information and Public Comments\n\n    The meeting will be held over one full day and will be conducted \nvia GoToWebinar.
