DESCRIPTION:Update\, February 28:  The meeting has been canceled. \n \nNo reason was given for the cancellation\, but yesterday the Trump Administration directed layoffs of 880 NOAA employees as part of the DOGE effort to reduce the size of government. \nOriginal Entry: NOAA’s Advisory Committee on Excellence in Space (ACES) will meet on March 5\, 2025 at the Department of Commerce\, 1401 Constitution Ave\, NW\, Washington\, DC from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm ET.  In-person participation is limited to committee members and Department of  Commerce personnel.
