DESCRIPTION:NOAA’s Advisory Committee on Commercial Remote Sensing (ACCRES) will meet on October 18\, 2018 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm ET at the AIA District Architecture Center\, 421 7th Street\, NW\, Washington\, DC. \nThe agenda is posted on the committee’s website. \nThe emailed announcement is reproduced below. It was also announcd in the September 27\, 2018 Federal Register [https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2018-09-27/html/2018-21078.htm]. \nGood afternoon\,\n\nI am pleased to inform you that NOAA’s Advisory Committee on Commercial Remote Sensing (ACCRES) will convene its 23rd meeting on Thursday\, October 18\, 2018 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. The meeting will be held at the AIA District Architecture Center\, 421 7th Street NW\, Washington DC\, 20004.\n\nThe meeting will cover a variety of topics including Commercial Remote Sensing Regulatory Affairs updates\, commercial remote sensing regulatory reform in the U.S. (15 CFR Part 960) and internationally. We will be hosting a panel discussion on international regulatory and policy trends and challenges. The meeting will include an hour long lunch break.\n\nIf you plan to attend\, please RSVP to me\, Samira Patel (samira.patel@noaa.gov\, 301-713-7077) by October 17th. If you plan to submit comments to the Committee\, please submit them by October 12\, 2018.
