DESCRIPTION:NOAA is seeking public comment on its draft report on what satellite observing systems it needs for the future.  The draft report was released on May 31\, 2018; comments are due July 2\, 2018. \nOn June 21\, NOAA will hold a public meeting with the satellite observing community to discuss the report (9:00-10:00 am ET) and hold 20-minute one-on-one meetings (10:00 am – 1:00 pm ET).  It will all take place at the Silver Spring Civic Building\,  1 Veterans Place\, Silver Spring\, MD. \nDetails on the public meeting\, including registration instructions\, are on the event’s website. \nA link to the draft study and other information are in the May 31\, 2018 Federal Register.
