DESCRIPTION:The NOAA Science Advisory Board will meet on February 27\, 2019 from 1:00-4:00 pm ET at the Hugh Gregg Coastal Conservation Center\, 93 Depot Road\, Greenland\, NH. \nMore information is in the Federal Register notice\, which is reproduced below. \nSUMMARY: This notice sets forth the schedule and proposed agenda of a \nmeeting of the NOAA Science Advisory Board (SAB). The members will \ndiscuss issues outlined in the section on Matters to be considered.\n\nDATES: The meeting will be held Wednesday\, February 27\, 2019 from 1:00 \np.m. EST to 4:00 p.m. EST. These times and agenda topics described \nbelow are subject to change. SAB activities and advice provide necessary input \nto ensure that National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) \nscience programs are of the highest quality and provide optimal support \nto resource management.\n    Matters to be Considered: The meeting will include the following \ntopics: (1) Climate Working Group Review of the Climate Program Office \nClimate and Global Change Post-Doctoral Program; (2) Environmental \nInformation Services Working Group Interim Report on the Use of \nObserving System Simulation Experiments (OSSEs); (3) Input on the draft \nNOAA Strategic Aquaculture Science Plan; and (4) Discussion of the NOAA \nResearch and Development Plan. Meeting materials\, including work \nproducts will be made available on the SAB website: http://sab.noaa.gov/SABMeetings.aspx.\n    Status: The meeting will be open to public participation with a 5-\nminute public comment period on February 27th from 3:50-3:55 p.m. EST \n(check website to confirm time). The SAB expects that public statements \npresented at its meetings will not be repetitive of previously \nsubmitted verbal or written statements. In general\, each individual or \ngroup making a verbal presentation will be limited to a total time of \none (1) minute. Written comments for the meeting should be received in \nthe SAB Executive Director's Office by February 20\, 2019 to provide \nsufficient time for SAB review. Written comments received after \nFebruary 20 will be distributed to the SAB\, but may not be reviewed \nprior to the meeting date. Seating at the meeting will be available on \na first-come\, first served basis.\n    Special Accommodations: These meetings are physically accessible to \npeople with disabilities.
