DESCRIPTION:NOAA’s Science Advisory Board will meet virtually on October 27-28\, 2020 from 1:00-5:00 pm ET each day. \nMore information including how to listen in is in the Federal Register notice\, which is reproduced below. \nUMMARY: This notice sets forth the schedule and proposed agenda for \nthe meeting of the Science Advisory Board (SAB). The members will \ndiscuss issues outlined in the section on Matters to be considered.\n\nDATES: The meeting is scheduled for October 27\, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to \n5:00 p.m. (EDT) and October 28\, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (EDT). \nThis time and the agenda topics described below are subject to change.\n    For the latest agenda please refer to the SAB website: http://sab.noaa.gov/SABMeetings.aspx.\n\nADDRESSES: This is a virtual meeting. SAB activities and advice provide necessary input \nto ensure that National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) \nscience programs are of the highest quality and provide optimal support \nto resource management.\n    Status: The October 27-28\, 2020 meeting will be open to public \nparticipation with a 15-minute public comment period at 4:45PM EST on \nOctober 27. The SAB expects that public statements presented at its \nmeetings will not be repetitive of previously submitted verbal or \nwritten statements. In general\, each individual or group making a \nverbal presentation will be limited to a total time of three minutes. \nWritten comments for the October 27-28\, 2020 meeting should be received \nin the SAB Executive Director's Office by October 14\, 2020 to provide \nsufficient time for SAB review. Written comments received by the SAB \nExecutive Director after this date will be distributed to the SAB\, but \nmay not be reviewed prior to the meeting date.\n    Special Accomodations: This meeting is physically accessible to \npeople with disabilities. Requests for special accommodations may be \ndirected to the Executive Director no later than 12 p.m. on October 14\, \n2020.\n    Matters to be Considered: The meeting on October 27-28\, 2020 will \ninclude NOAA Updates\, discussion of the SAB work plan\, and other \ntopics; the full agenda will be published on the SAB website.
