DESCRIPTION:NASA and Boeing will hold a pre-launch news conference on May 17\, 2022 at 12:00 pm ET or no earlier than one hour after completion of the Launch Readiness Review for the May 19 launch of Boeing’s uncrewed Orbital Flight Test-2 to the International Space Station. \nThe news conference will air live on NASA Television\, the NASA app\, and the agency’s website. \nParticipants are: \n\nSteve Stich\, manager\, NASA’s Commercial Crew Program\nJoel Montalbano\, manager\, NASA’s International Space Station Program\nMark Nappi\, vice president and program manager\, Boeing Commercial Crew Program\nGary Wentz\, vice president\, Government and Commercial Programs\, ULA\nWill Ulrich\, launch weather officer\, U.S. Space Force\, 45th Weather Squadron\, Space Launch Delta 45\n\nThis is the second attempt for OFT-2.  The first try on August 3\, 2021 was scrubbed about two hours before launch when 13 propulsion valves would not open.
